Hi, does anyone want to know about a fully funded scholarship offered by the Chinese government? Then you are right. The Shanghai Government Scholarship 2026 is now accepting applications. All international students are eligible for this fully supported award. These scholarships are offered to students pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. IELTS is not required, and the Shanghai Scholarship does not impose an application fee.

The SGS scholarship is offered for all academic fields of study. Without worrying about the IELTS, you can apply. There are no limitations on the fields of education. Financial Benefits:

The Shanghai government offers two different kinds of scholarships: Type A (full scholarship) and Type B (partial scholarship).

Full Scholarship

Monthly Stipend:

  • Undergraduate program: CNY2500
  • For Master’s program: CNY3000

Partial Scholarship

  • Cover the tuition fee

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants should be in good health.
  • Chinese students are not eligible to apply, but international students must.
  • Candidates must be under 23 years old and have completed high school to be considered for the pre-college program.
  • Candidates for the bachelor’s degree program must be under 25 years old and have completed high school.
  • Applicants for the master’s program must be under 35 years old and hold a bachelor’s degree.
  • Candidates for the Ph.D. program must be under 40 years old and hold a master’s degree.
