Scholarship Benefits
The scholarship will include the following and have a maximum annual value of €31,000 in any year that it is approved:
- a stipend of €22,000 per annum;
- a fee contribution up to a maximum of €5,750 per year, including non-EU fees; and
- eligible direct research expenses of €3,250 per annum.
Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met to apply for the Ireland Government Scholarship 2026.
- Candidates must be non-EU nationals.
- Excellent communication skills
- Should be good at extracurricular activities
- Have a compelling reason for studying in Ireland that explains how GOI-IES aligns with their long-term objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree candidates in their last year may also apply for this scholarship.
- For a master’s degree, one should have a bachelor’s degree
- Should have a bachelor’s or Master’s degree for a Ph.D.
